This compilation album was made available promotionally around the time of the 1995 'In The City' contest in Manchester, an annual event showcasing unsigned bands. Kula Shaker were joint winners of this event in 1995, along with Placebo. This quickly lead to them securing a record deal. The track Tattva On St.George's Day appears on this compilation, although it is listed simply as 'Tattva'. This marks the band's first appearance on a release that wasn't self-issued.
