The band's third album. Saw release initially in Japan, far before the rest of the world, on 27th June 2007. A full UK and mainland Europe release followed on 20th August 2007. All formats feature the same first 12 tracks (which constitute the album Strangefolk) but differ as to included bonus tracks, of which every format so far issued contains one. The bonus tracks are marked as such on the album packaging and additionally, a woman's voice states in French after the track Dr.Kitt that a bonus track will now follow. The UK and mainland Europe release SFKS001CD features the bonus track Persephone as track 13. However advance copies in the UK and Europe had Super CB Operator as the bonus track, and promotional material and the band's official website stated that the bonus track in these regions would be Super CB Operator, prior to release. Digital retailers in these regions sold the album with Super CB Operator as the bonus track, as this was what had been included in their advance CDs. This was not corrected. In Japan Super CB Operator and Wannabe Famous were included as the first two bonus tracks, as 13th and 14th tracks on the album respectively. Persephone appeared as a third bonus track, hidden after Wannabe Famous and not included on the tracklisting. The first tracklisting publicly released of the album Strangefolk (stated on a mail out from the official website as 'final', though this turned out to be false) omitted 6ft Down Blues from the main album tracklisting and indicated that only one bonus track would be available per territory, either Super CB Operator or Persephone.
