The Freedom Lovin' People EP was released only in Japan, on 23rd May 2007. The lead track on the EP was Great Dictator (Of The Free World) which appears on the band's third album Strangefolk. At the time of the EP's release, a video for the title track was circulated to Japanese music video stations and it was promoted as a radio single. Despite the fact that this was in all but name only, a standard Japanese single release, it was given a unique name, possibly to give it more appeal as a unique item. The release was limited to 8888 copies.
