This discography covers only UK, Japanese, Australian and US / Canada releases only, and only commercial releases not promotional releases. The exception to this is the 'Special Releases' section where you will find details of the most notable promotional releases.

During Kula Shaker's first incarnation, the UK generally got everything first, including multi-format singles (the exception being the track 'Raagy One (Waiting For Tomorrow)' which appeared on the Japanese issue of K months before its release as a Bside to Hush). Sound Of Drums and Tattva (Lucky 13 Mix) were never released outside the UK. Australia followed the release of the other UK singles generally issuing single CDs featuring a superset of the tracks available across UK formats. In Japan three longer singles were released during 96-97 which brought together most but not all of the UK Bsides from the band's first six singles there. With the final two singles from the band's second album, Japan reverted to the Australian format of simply bringing all the tracks together on one CD. The US and Canada did not get any singles from the band at all, but did get the Summer Sun EP in the summer of 1997, which was comprised of six tracks previously released as Bsides to UK singles. The band's first two albums were issued in all markets worldwide. Singles were released in other markets too (only in mainland Europe to any extent) but these were always variations of the current UK release, never featuring any exclusive tracks.

Kula Shaker reformed in 2004. The Revenge Of The King EP was their first release after that, with a worldwide digital release through iTunes that preceded the issuing of any physical formats. Subsequently 1000 10" vinyls were pressed and sold on the second leg of the band's 2006 UK tour and later through a mail-order website. Later, the EP was issued on CD in Japan with a bonus track. The Freedom Lovin' People EP was released next in Japan only, while the UK saw the release of single Second Sight (unlike their releases in 95-99, so far the single and EP releases have been confined to Japan and the UK only). Third album Strangefolk saw release first in Japan then later simultaneously in the UK and mainland Europe. As of yet there is no release date set for other territories.
